The Second Brain:
A Groundbreaking New Understanding of Nervous Disorders of the Stomach and Intestine
This one was an important book for me as it answered many questions as to how and why emotions and perceptions are directly connected to the workings of our GI tract. In other words, Gershon's book supplied the necessary scientific and medical foundation to explain why when life goes wrong and times are stressful, your stomach and bowels are the first to respond. I really recommend this one !
