The Invisible Sex:
Uncovering the True Roles of Women in Prehistory
A science based historical perspective on the role of early women; it is a window into modern day gender identity and discrimination. Not only does it trace our evolutionary roots, the authors also paint a fresh insight into how and why women do the things we do, encourage men to scratch their heads in disbelief, and unconsciously encourage children to favor women over men. Filled with in-depth anthropological research and sociological meaning I really enjoyed this book especially for the human timeline noting important anatomical and physiological changes of the human body along the way
